[Billing](https://support.pozotron.com/helpcenter/pricing-billing?hsLang=en#billing) # Understanding When You Will Be Charged ## Pozotron uses a usage-based billing model designed to give you flexibility and control over your subscription. ### When You’re Charged Unlike many subscription services, Pozotron **does not charge you at the start of your billing cycle**.  Instead, we: - Track your audio usage throughout your billing period - Calculate your total usage at the end of that period - Then bill you based on your selected plan and actual usage ### Your Billing Date Your billing cycle is based on a consistent monthly date: - Your billing date is the **same day every month** - Your billing period runs from that date to the same date the following month *(for example, from the 10th of one month to the 10th of the next)* Because of this, billing periods may be slightly shorter or longer depending on the month, but your billing date will always stay the same. ### Changing Your Plan Mid-Cycle Because billing happens at the end of the cycle, you have flexibility: - You can **upgrade or change your plan at any time** - This means that if your workload is higher or lower than you expected, that's ok! You can change your subscription to a plan that better fits your workload **with no penalties.** ### Example: Professional 4 Plan Let’s say you sign up for the **Professional 4 plan**: - You are **not charged immediately** - Pozotron will track how much audio you upload during your billing period - At the end of the billing cycle: - You’ll be charged **$40 for the first 4 hours** - Plus **$12 for each additional hour** beyond that This approach ensures you only pay based on how much you actually use.
