Understanding the Maximum Length on an Audio File

Our Proofing Tool allows you to upload audio files up to 120 minutes per file.

Before you begin recording, it is important to note that Pozotron Studio has a maximum length limit of 120 minutes per audio file.

This limit is displayed in the drag and drop section of the Proofing window in your Proofing Tool.

The reason for this limitation is to ensure that our software can process your audio files efficiently.

If the length exceeds 120 minutes, the processing speed will be significantly slower.

How to solve any issues related to file length:

To prevent encountering any error messages, it is highly recommended to record each chapter of your audiobook separately to help keep them under 120 minutes.

Another option is to divide your audio files into shorter ones manually if you have already finished recording.

Good to know:

If you are getting an error message even though your files are shorter than 120 minutes, it could be because the number of words in the file exceeds 20,000 words. This can also trigger the error message. In this case, it is recommended to split the files into shorter ones.
